Now we have to hold our legislatures feet to the fire and get behind the issues we think are the most important.

AGENDA 21
Absolutely everyone needs to not only learn about the U.N.'s 'Agenda 21', but continue to monitor its progress throughout
the United States. Agenda 21 is the U.N.'s plan for new Global Governance under the guise of planet sustainability. The goal is to control every aspect of people's lives in order to ensure social justice. This means no private land ownership, water consumption control...etc.

Agenda 21, through ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability) is slowly infiltrating city governments throughout the world; including the U.S.

It is time we stand up, let our voices be heard, and stop ICLEI from moving into our communities.

Indiana Primary, 8 May 2012

January 7th
How many of you realize that the Indiana Primary election is only 125 days away?

In my opinion all this fretting about who we will vote for as the Republican nominee for President, is a waste of time. In the grand scheme of things, Indiana votes 39th. I believe that by the time we vote, the Republican nominee will pretty well be a foregone conclusion. We need to think about the larger picture.

We need to think about who we want as our next Governor. Who we want to replace Lugar. All of our Representatives will be up for reelection. We have a good chance to pick up one more seat, making it 7 Republicans and 2 Democrats. Also, a couple of the current RINO Republican Representatives need to be replaced with true conservatives.

In addition to the Governor, we will be voting to reelect, or not, our State Representatives. I'm not sure how many of the State Senators are up for reelection, so I'll leave that up to you to find out if you are reelecting, or not, yours'.

There are many local level elections to consider, here is a sample of positions up for election in White County:

Auditor
Recorder
Treasurer
County Commissioner District 1
County Commissioner District 2
County Council at large
County Council at large
County Council at large
North Miami School Board District 3
North Miami School Board District 5
North Miami School Board District 6
North Miami School Board at Large
Maconaquah School Board District 2
Maconaquah School Board District 3
Maconaquah School Board District 4
Maconaquah School Board District 4
Peru School Board
Peru School Board

I hope that some of you might consider running for one of these positions. Let the Tea Party be heard in local politics.

While I'm at it, I want to make a pitch. I'm sure all of you have heard the phrase, "All politics is local." It starts in your precinct. During the primary in May, the Indiana Republican Party will be electing precinct committee members and delegates to the Indiana Republican Convention. Democrats will be electing delegates to the Indiana Democrat Convention. (Yes, I know a couple of Democrat Tea Party members.) I would ask all of you to consider running for one of these positions. Republicans can run for both positions. In 2010, we had over 75 Indiana Tea Partiers elected at delegates, including myself. It cost nothing to register as a candidate, and an easy walk in and out. The only cost is attendance fee to the convention, $85 in 2010. The convention, held in Indianapolis, last for an entire weekend. I have no experience with the time involved in being a precinct committee person, but, I intend to find out. So, if you are inclined, I hope you get involved at the local level and let us all make a difference.

Runners Take Your Mark - Ready,Set,Vote

January 9th
Talk radio, the news stations, internet blogs, tweets and chat rooms are all a buzz with the presidential candidates. Fluctuating up and down in popularity a different candidate seems to rise to the perch every few weeks. Of course anytime a candidate starts increasing in popularity they become a target by both the left and by the already committed followers of every other candidate in the race.  With each candidate it seems to boil down to one or two policy differences and or some former questionable decisions or statements.
Devoted follows will not even admit to a disagreement on an issue but instead “justify” why it is okay for this candidate this time. If you don’t like their stance on something say so, but that you still feel in light of the other candidates available they would be the right choice. Don’t bend on your principles or in the end all of your principles become valueless.  With that being said, everyone seeks their perfect presidential nominee. But then again there is no such thing as perfection, especially in a political arena. Show me the perfect candidate that pleases all the people all the time and I will show you a liar.  That’s right, I said the word liar. I am sick to death with the word disingenuous. They aren’t lacking in sincerity, they are tell bold face lies.
We cannot know all the facts on every issue.  Often the information needed to make a correct decision on an issue may not even be available to us, being secured for the benefit of our country. That is why it is vital that we can TRUST the people we elect. Armed with all the knowledge at hand they must choose the correct course.  So should the question we ask ourselves  before voting simply be “Who do I trust”? I can easily say I do not trust Barrack Obama but it is more difficult to say who of the primary candidates  I trust the most.
It shouldn’t be so hard to determine who will uphold the constitution and protect the people from their biggest enemy, government power. After all isn’t part of the oath they take right before they take the reigns.
